Pastor Chris Mancl
Chris grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin called Rudolph. At 17 years old, his life was forever changed when he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Chris attended North Central University in Minneapolis, where he met the love of his life and wife, Tracie Mancl. Chris and Tracie were married on August 2, 2003. Together they have followed and served the kingdom of God in many ways. When he is not preaching or working his other job as a painter, Chris loves bowhunting, reading, running and drinking coffee. He and Tracie have a little white dog named Sasha and are faithfully planting City Point Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
Tracie Mancl
Tracie is originally from Clinton, Illinois, but moved to the Stevens Point area with her husband, Chris, to plant City Point Church. Tracie remembers giving her life to Jesus around 1997, and now serves the church in the nursery and anywhere else she is needed. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education, and currently works in the community as a receptionist and insurance specialist. In her free time, Tracie loves movies, reading, puzzles, crafts and especially baking cupcakes. One of her dreams is to open her own cupcake shop or have her own baking show.
Paul Joswick
Paul serves City Point in many capacities, including greeting, serving communion, gardening and maintenance, and volunteering in the children’s ministry. He is from New Berlin, where he was the 10th of 11 children (as he puts it: “Joyce got a 10!”). He moved to Stevens Point in 1983, where he and his wife, Joyce, raised their three kids. Paul started his relationship with Jesus in 1998 and relies on God in his work at City Point and his job in town as a press operator. When he’s not working, Paul likes to spend his time fishing and welding.
Joyce Joswick
Like her husband, Paul, Joyce serves many roles at City Point. She regularly helps with announcements of the church’s upcoming events, prepares coffee and food, and cares for the flowers outside the building. She was born in Mauston, but moved to Stevens Point in 1983 and began her relationship with Jesus in 1990. Outside of church, Joyce works as a Custom Experience Specialist at Delta Dental and enjoys photography, painting, crafts, upcycling things, and gardening. Her message for everyone who walks into City Point is “Jesus really does love you, just as you are at this moment.”
Ben Lutter
Ben grew up in Waupaca and started his relationship with Jesus when he was in middle school. He and his wife, Dawn, settled in the Stevens Point area and committed to help launch City Point church. Now, Ben leads worship weekly and plans the songs and practices for the worship team. In the community, Ben uses his graphic design background as a Production Artist at Communication Logistics. He and Dawn have a “dog-ter,” Leia. In his free time, Ben enjoys eating meat, grilling meat, drinking coffee, and playing guitar.
Dawn Lutter
Dawn was born in Wausau, but has spent much of her life in Stevens Point. She gave her life to Jesus in 2006, and now uses that to guide her relationships with family, friends, and the clients who come for her expertise as a licensed massage therapist. When she has time, Dawn enjoys photography, travel, visiting fun coffee places, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her Great Dane pup. Dawn can often be seen taking pictures at church because she loves to capture and document life’s moments.
